Connecting the Thoughts.

Using blog as tool for teaching and learning? That's soooooo 2000! Nevertheless, I always believe it does. Hence What were You Thinking.

Teaching becoming quite challenging now days. With all the advancement in technology that makes all sort of information accessible, teachers have to be more advanced. They need to be like 5-10 steps away from the students. Whats more if the subject you teach is chalk-and-talk in nature such as political science or the like.

However, my case is unique!

Despite all the information accessibility, my students seem reluctant (or rather have no idea) to manipulate the situation. They wait to be fed and catch whatever comes into their way. They don't bother to verify all information given (I purposely presented a very wrong fact once, but nobody says anything!). Thus, it makes my job easier. No worry to keep up with technology! What a relief!

But, 1 thing I'm so sure is their willingness to study. How do I know about this?

They never miss my lecture.
They never late to my class.
They smile, the node.
Yet, when they answer the test, they failed miserably.

Cling to this small magnitude of optimism, I'm hoping this blog will aid them to stimulate their thoughts and senses and becoming the kind of students that a teacher can dream of. Seriously, I believe they are great students - only time will tells.

So my students, till then, I love you. Always do.

Let's read what they were thinking!
