Clash Of Clans Compare with Military Power

Supercell first started developing games for tablets in 2011.  Supercell was a world game developer and they already come out with various top games. Clash of Clans is a popular Apple game where it can be downloaded from Appstore. It has been available internationally on the iTunes store for free since 2nd August 2012, and it spread to Android user on the Google Play Store since 8 October 2013. Clash of Clans is a strategy game where players can construct and expand their village, unlock successively more powerful warriors and defenses, raid and pillage resources from other villages.

A multiplayer game, Clash of Clans allows players to build their community, train troops, and attack other players to earn gold and elixir while building their own defenses to protect against attackers. Players can also use the chat feature to communicate with others and join clans to aid each other. Clash of Clans has been a top 5 download since December, 2012. The success of the game was described as being part of the ushering in of a new era in conjoint gaming. Source from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clash_of_Clans

As in the game, the user will expand their village and make their Townhall become stronger. This will make the power of user village stronger by upgrading their army. This situation is same as what we going through in the real life of world power. The United Stated Military is a powerfull Army base. Could any country mount an attack on the US? Probably not. In the Clash of clan game, user fill find another base which they can raid the village.
The US has been a world power since the late 19th century.  After the defeat of the Spanish in Cuba and the Philippines in 1898 you had the beginning of a new world power.  World War I and II put a definite stamp on it.  There is no stronger power in the world than the United States.  There are many reasons for this, but a strong and efficient military is one of the biggest reasons.

The U.S. spends close to what the entire rest of the world spends in defense. $711 billion. Per year. The next closest is China at $143 billion. The M1 Abrams tank has seen more combat than just about any other tank on the battlefield today. It has never been knocked out by enemy fire and also have 10 aircraft carriers. There are 8,400 attack helicopters in the world. The U.S. has 6,400 of them. The United States has engaged in every type of ground warfare in the last 20 years. From mountains to jungles, and from desert to urban, we have the some of the most experienced warriors in the world. No other country comes close to the amount of combat veterans that we have. Minion Rush (Faez, Najmiah, Syafiqah)

Firstly I will explain about this Minion Rush Games. Gru’s loyal yellow gibberish speaking Minions are ready for their toughest challenge in Despicable Me: Minion Rush. Play as a Minion and compete with others in hilarious, fast-paced challenges in order to impress their boss, super-villain Gru.

In this games also include Vector as the main enemy to the Minion. He always disturb Minion in order to the the banana's as the scoring point to the player. This is the main obstacle to the Minion to get the banana's. So, the player of this game must beat Vector in order to continue to the next stage.

In order to relate it with our situation nowadays, the Minion as the production country with many resources such as in term of their income, economics, and so on. So, Minion here is like the country like USA. The USA is an increasingly in the economic development, politics, social and security. For an example this country has their stability in term of economy and have investors invest in their country.

So for the their countervailing force to them is Vector which is country like China. This country also have power in term of economic and can interrupt USA in order to attract the investor to invest in their country.

What can be relate from the Minion Rush game and the competition between USA and China is there are strong competition between both parties. They would like to counter each other and be the most influencial power in their both situation. From my view, it also a healthy competition because if they keep encounter each other, they will give their best in order not to lose to their opposed party.

SUPER MARIO GAMES vs USA

SUPER MARIO GAMES!!!

Super Mario? have you played this game? this game is very famous and glamorous before this around 1998.....If I'm not mistaken.....before I go more further, this is a little bit explanation about this game...The Super Mario video games series is a series platform video games created by Nintendo. Nintendo Co. Ltd is Japanese multinational consumer electronic company and is the world's largest video game company... Amazing right?  From the Wikipedia, it is stated that actually the name of Nintendo when translated to English mean "LEAVE LUCK TO HEAVEN".

Nintendo's President Since 2002, Satoru Iwata

The Super Mario games can be seen as the Mario's adventures in the Mushroom kingdom. Mario as the main character. This games have simple plots where is Mario rescuing the Princess that was kidnapped by antagonist. The player must runs and jumps to stop enemies and to move forward until reach the finish line at each level. Mario also has special powers like Fireball-throwing and Size-changing into giant and small size. Besides that, one of the interesting when played this game is we can get "one-ups" as the power that able to add life. So, try to play this amazing games with your beloved family and friends! :)

So, now to make this things more interesting, let's do the comparison between of the two realm world which is 'Real world and Game world' to make additional knowledge in unique ways and more interesting! But, this comparison is related about the international system nowadays....who will involve? what states? other NGO's? how we pertinent to each others? have a lot of questions right? let's we solve it! ( good idea and opinion let's come to me and help me...) LOL....

Hoping for Blessed....

Superhero = Mario
US as a supreme power nowadays....so the calculation like this :

MARIO = US

US is a supreme power and conquer all aspects in the world such as social, economic,
military and politics etc. Mario has a superpowers that why Mario brave to safe the princess. Same with US condition nowadays, US also have a supreme power that can't  disturbing by anyone and they can protect it states because they have powers.

Several famous Antagonist character in this games :
1) Goomba - speed walking and toxic body
2) Koopa Troopa - toxic head
3) Flower Gloop - teeth deadly

In this game, these antagonist functional well to fight with Mario and to make Mario die before he can safely arrived at the end of line at every each level. Towards our international nowadays, Goomba can be said as North Korea when their states have a power in term of nuclear power. North Korea can become as a one of the challenger towards US. From blog of Asia Pacific Defense Forum, the highest policy making body of Pyongyang's military, the National Defense Commission (National Defense Commission or NDC), removing the threats towards US "all-out-war"  demanded the US stop military drills with its allies South Korea and Japan. North Korea look as one of the countervailing forces towards US because their states also have a superpowers in term of nuclear and it can make US feel uncomfortable and become as one of the threats to US. Did you agree with me?

Secondly, Koopa Troopa. Nice name given...:) China! this state can be refer as Koopa Troopa. China counter with US in term of economic. MONEY for everything! Why China? this is because China is second largest economy in the world with an average growth of 10% for the last 30 years based on KDNK and PPP. Economic of US indisputable of each states. Besides that, economic US look weak in this year , US economic more weak because the rate of national debt limit to $16.7 trillion. According to the Wall Street Journal, China's economy grew 7.6% and considered very encouraging. If growth consistent, it is possible China overtake the US world economic power. It same condition with Mario game if Mario did not careful, so Mario can die because of toxic head of Koopa Troopa and if US still not find the ways to encourage their economic, China will be greatest then US.  GLUURRPPP!

Flower Gloop! flower that have sharp teeth that can make MARIO die easily if Mario not careful when jumping above the green gloop. So funny! Russia also as one of the state that have a strong defense system. So, they can counter US from the side of defense system. How great Russia actually? They sit at the ranked no.3 that having a greatest military power in the world with advanced equipments of nuclear arms and weapons. They had been crowned as the world's greatest power and is likely to become as the world's largest weapons manufacturing. Wow! it also impress...

Oh God! I forgetting about green gloop! What green glop? Green gloop is the house for Flower gloop... Flower gloop hiding inside the green gloop and going out at-any time its want. So, Mario should be really careful with it. However, green gloop is actually beneficial also to Mario because if Mario enters in some gloop, Mario shorten its journey and easier to reach the destination end! It is cool! So, who can I said as green gloop? do you have any ideas? please help me!
ZZZZZZ..........

Enjoy this entry! But. before that, those who never played this games can press video below... :)

LETS START THE GAME...swiped fruits...

Have you play SWIPED FRUITS ??!! ;) Swiped fruits is very enjoy games !!! This is because you are eager to collect the point which is fruits within the time. There are two main actors in this game : JUNGLEE AND MONKEY...

What is their function ???

Functions of swiped fruits games
Junglee – swiped over Junglee with the number of fruits to clear all fruits in that column and row
Monkey – swiped over Monkey with the number of fruits to clear all surrounding fruits

So how we can relate this two actors in this game with our reality in term of world system....Lets we explore it !

The World System today is Unipolar that belongs to United States of America.

So based on this game we relate it with the world system today.

Junglee act as a USA because it is superpower in this game. It can grab and clear all fruits surrounding column and row.
Same goes to USA nowadays which is a superpower in all fields include in economics, politics, social, military, etc. Thus we can assume USA like a Junglee. They conquer most all international system in the world.

While based on this game we can imagine Monkey as a Russia, because in this game Monkey only grab and clear the fruits over it surroundings.

Same goes to Russia, they try to counter with USA as superpower to get the power. Nowadays, Russia riches with nuclear sources but they still do not achieve same level as USA. This is because USA has great power over Russia in the International system lately.

As well as in term of military, US have a lot of modern military because increase in production of new weapons to attack Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq. They are more joining and involve in the war compare with Russia which more prefer defensive and do not attack. Moreover Russia does not have good military asset as US. However, President of Russia, Putin has promised to modernize the military 100 per cent by 2015. Increase of military will do to make them as the most powerful army and modern in the world by the year 2020.

So this situation has challenged the position of US as a superpower. Russia try to dominate military power from US such a Monkey try to clear fruit it surrounding even know Junglee able to clear all fruits in each row and column.

Besides that, Monkey counter with Junglee to get the point based on target within the time given. In reality Russia counters with USA to get the great power and compete with USA.
So, if we couldn't finish and grab the fruits within the time given and target it’s become over. It shows how the competition between Russia and USA to compete to become superpower by getting the highest point and finish within the time given.

As a conclusion, we can see in this game relationship between Junglee vs Monkey like the world system today such USA vs Russia. Both have the great power have the great influences from others. From this relationship it gives impact to the world affairs in terms of economy, politic, social, military and etc.

The Global Economy

POWER

What i understand during cold war there are two superpower which is United State (US) and Soviet Union (USSR).During this time the system that used was bipolar system.

What is a bipolar system??
Bipolar is involve of two superpower. It is a distribution of power in which two states have the majority of economic, military, and cultural influence internationally or regionally. Thus there are some clash of ideologies between them. For example obviously in the Cold War, most Western and capitalist states would fall under the influence of the USA, while most Communist states would fall under the influence of the USSR.
In other words these two power have different ideological; capitalist and communism.

But today there is no more bipolar system. Now we use a unipolar system

What is a unipolar system??
A unipolar system is a distribution of power in which one state exercises most of the cultural, economic, and military influence. The most recent example of a unipolar world has been one dominated by the United States of America since 1991, in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union. For example in term of currency the transaction that used is in US $ dollar. Such in Malaysia if we made transaction with Singapore we have to use in dollar.

MARKET

But when we talk about what the different between during cold war and the current, i look one of the part is in term of market. Market is the central goal of the system that provide for expanded international trade as well as to increase prosperity. Thus the mechanism that used was the general agreement on tariff and trade (GATT),which 1955 evolved into the World Trade Organization (WTO). The GATT was a multilateral agreement on tariff levels.

While the second goal of the Bretton Woods system. It provide for stability in the international financial system. this was accomplished through the development   of an international currency system based on the U.S.dollar, which was in turn linked to the value of gold. For your information these system was managed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).  Agreements in exchange rates between different currencies provided stability and predictability, and system of IMF loans helped countries overcome short-term imbalances in their international financial position. This system was helped to rapid economic growth among advanced industrial states.

However nowadays what i can see that the market conquer by US. Everything is under control of US, other countries that deal with US should accept and follow any system that establish by US.

Cold War (Update on 20/3/2014)

History of Cold War

I will discuss about The Cold War regarding to the what we had learn last lecture. This name given to the relationship that developed primarily between the USA and the USSR after World War Two. Not many people know about this Cold War because they think it is not important info to them. But, as a student we also need to know a little bit.

This happen because there is clash of very different beliefs and ideology which are capitalism versus communism.  I think this picture will make you more understand about this two ideology.

The USSR in 1945 was Russia post-1917 and included all the various countries that now exist individually for an example Ukraine and Georgia. After the war they were part of this huge country up until the collapse of the Soviet Union which is the other name for the USSR.

Before the war, America had depicted the Soviet Union as almost the devil-incarnate. The Soviet Union had depicted America likewise so their ‘friendship’ during the war was simply the result of having a mutual enemy which is Nazi Germany. In fact, one of America’s leading generals, Patton, stated that he felt that the Allied army should unite with what was left of the Wehrmacht in 1945, utilize the military genius that existed within it and fight the oncoming Soviet Red Army. Churchill himself was furious that Eisenhower, as supreme head of Allied command, had agreed that the Red Army should be allowed to get to Berlin first ahead of the Allied army. His anger was shared by Montgomery, Britain’s senior military figure.

So the extreme distrust that existed during the war was certainly present before the end of the war and this was between Allies. The Soviet leader, Joseph Stalin, was also distrustful of the Americans after Truman only told him of a new terrifying weapon that he was going to use against the Japanese. The first Stalin knew of what this weapon could do was when reports on Hiroshima got back to Moscow.

So this was the scene after the war ended in 1945. Both sides distrusted the other. One had a vast army in the field  of the Soviet Union with its Red Army supremely lead by Zhukov, while the other, the Americans had the most powerful weapon in the world, the A-bomb and the Soviets had no way on knowing how many America had.

Okay, let have some question?
Q: In diplomatic terms there are three types of war. What were you thinking?

Below are the factor and effect of Cold War, I give in point form in order to understand and easiet you all to read. :)

Factor contributing to Cold War.

  • Attempts by the Soviets and Chinese Communists to influence and take over areas in Asia and Europe.
  • The policy of the United States to stop communism from spreading to other areas of the world.
  • USSR’s expansion west into Eastern Europe and broken election promise.
  • USSR’s need for a secure western border and their aim of spreading world communism.

Effect of Cold War

The Cold War had many effects on society, both today and in the past. It can be divided into 6 legacies.
  1. Nuclear legacies
  2. Radiation legacies
  3. Security legacies
  4. Military legacies
  5. Institutional legacies
  6. Economic legacies

Thanks for spend time to read it. :)
